Job Title: Office Assistant

Description/Duties
- General administrative duties including filing
- Inter-company & external fuel billing, posting, COGS
- Broker Fuel Onsite/Petro Billing, Posting and COGS
- Petropass: retrieving multiple invoices from website, posting
- Basic Data Entry: AR/AP invoicing
- Payroll – (Simply Only) / potentially 1-3 companies
- Weekly Scrap Purchase entries in Simply, file
- Monthly Fuel Adj invoice in Simply, file
- Month end Vendor statement Reconciliation for all companies
- Off-site: Deposit pick-up at other location in town / Collecting mail from Post office & getting deposits ready / Bank Deposits & occasionally collecting PC while at bank/ Posting all deposits for all companies in Simply
- Posting all deposits for all companies in Simply
- Year end- boxing and new file set-up for all 8+ companies
- Year end – Monthly Posting for Leases/Loans – starting Jan 2024
- Monthly Posting of AR Internal sales, posting in corresponding company – starting Jan 2024
Qualifications
- Experience with Excel
- Office experience is required
- Payroll experience is an asset
- Simply Accounting is an asset
Salary Range: 15.60/hr.
Type: Part-time approx. 20-30 hours
Location: Essex
On Bus Route: No
Position Requires a Personal Vehicle: Yes, travel off-site approximately 10km is required (reimbursement provided)
