Job Title: Receiving Coordinator
NOC Code: 1521
Description\Duties
- Examine contents and temperatures, compare with records such as manifests, invoices, certifications, bill of ladings, to verify accuracy of produce and dry good incoming loads
- Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and complete OSD&R forms
- Keep open lines of communication with all departments, to address needs or issues and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
- Record shipment data in famous and TMS software
- Requisition dry good items from other facilities, loading, and ensure items sent in a timely manner to not disturb packing schedules
- Plan and enter the transfer orders for both dry good and produce as requested for the day’s workload
- Coordinate, organize, and oversee forklift drivers on daily priorities and sequence of inbound loads
- Drive forklift as needed to assist with a timely offloading of priorities, following FIFO and scanning procedures
- Assist Receiving Supervisor as needed and directed with health and safety documentation, handling/freight charges and tracking
- Assist with training new hires, overseeing their entries and providing assistance as needed
- The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example
- A positive attitude in the workplace is required as is the ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures
- Responsibilities, tasks, and duties of the jobholder might differ from those outlined and other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
- Safe driver as a fork lift operator and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Previous experience with vegetables or comparable environment is preferred
- Related experience in logistics will be considered an asset; however, training will be provided to the successful candidate
- Ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken) in English
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of Famous and RedLine Cooler programs (for inventory management) will be considered an asset
- Must be able to work independently or within a team setting
- Positive attitude, punctual and willing to grow within the company
Salary: TBD
Hours of Work: Full time, permanent, 6-days a week, rotating shifts (days and afternoons), and potentially extended hours depending on workload and priorities; which could include possible Sunday shifts (unless stipulated otherwise in offer of employment).

Additional Information
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (i.e. up to 23 kg / 50 lbs.)
- Able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F
