Job Title: Truck & Coach Technician

NOC Code: 7321


  • Repair and diagnose farm equipment, company vehicles, transport trucks and trailers
  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, lubricating, air and fuel filters
  • Conduct regular safety inspections on vehicles and equipment
  • Replacement of any defective parts. Maintain all required records and files for vehicle maintenance
  • Plowing, salting, and removal of snow will be required when necessary
  • The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example
  • A positive attitude in the workplace is required as is the ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures
  • Responsibilities, tasks, and duties of the jobholder might differ from those outlined and other duties may be assigned


  • Must be physically able to lift heavy material (i.e. up to 23 kg/50 lbs.)
  • Knowledge of computers and scan tools is considered an asset
  • Truck and Coach Certificate and/or currently in 2nd or 3rd year of Truck and Coach Apprenticeship
  • Knowledge of all Truck and Mechanic tools related to the trade
  • Ability to work independently or within a team setting
  • Able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and deal with time sensitive deadlines and priorities

Salary: TBD

Hours of Work: Full time, permanent, 6-7 days a week (as required); which include Saturdays, depending on workload and priorities
